Exodus 14:10-10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.
Fear has a way of making us forget what God has already done.
The Israelites had witnessed miracles. They had seen God move on their behalf. Yet when they saw Pharaoh’s army approaching, fear immediately took hold of them.
Sometimes we assume that fear means we are failing in our faith.
But fear often shows up when we are standing at the edge of something new.
At Hope 1 Ministries, we have seen this happen during transitions, new opportunities, outreach efforts, career changes, and even personal growth. Sometimes the very thing God is calling us toward can feel overwhelming.
Fear is real.
But fear does not mean God has abandoned us.
