Women of Courage

Be strong and courageous, (Joshua 1:6 A)

“This is for you my sisters: Mighty women of God. I want to exhort you with this one word, “Resilient” You are stronger than you think! Your bravery and courageous heart come from the dynamic power of the Holy Ghost within. I hope you know that you are so loved by the Father, you are beautiful inside and out! You are amazing! Let Him lead you into His presence where you are forever changed and protected by the strong arms of our Savior Jesus Christ” -MT

Grace & Peace to you my sisters, mighty women of God! Every woman deserves a daily reminder of just how strong she is, whether she is feeling totally fearless or just a little bit insecure that day. No matter what, the scripture only serves to reinforce the fact that women are amazing! And on top of that, women play a powerful role in God’s story of redemption throughout Scripture. Here are some important things the bible says about women that can build your confidence, transform your thinking and greatly impact the way we live our lives. May we celebrate the uniqueness of who God created us to be while knowing that we all have something special to give to help make our world a better place.

4 important THINGS THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT WOMEN

My words, thoughts, and imaginations are under the power of
Christ.
I take all thoughts captive and make them obedient to
Christ.
I am creative, innovative, driven, focused, and blessed beyond
measure—because the Holy Spirit dwells within me

First, Women are forgiven. God sees you woman of God and He knows your name and understand your deepest pain. I’m reminded of the story of Hagar. She, a lowly servant, had been impregnated by a man who didn’t care for her, and treated poorly by a scornful wife of that man. But still, when she fled to the desert, she found hope in your promises (El Roi-Genesis 16). Because God sees her when no one else does, Hagar declares, “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”

In other words, when we feel most invisible and forgotten by everyone else, we can remember that God does see us. He witnesses our struggles and comes alongside us. After all, if he sees the sparrows and takes care of them (Matthew 6:26), how much more does he care for us in our greatest time of need? In our most desperate moments, similar to Hagar, we can see the fingerprints of God all over our past. We know he has the future in his hands. And he will never stop seeing us. Not even for a second.

Secondly, Women are created in Christ for good works. You come to recognize the work of God’s distinguishing grace upon you. The creator of all things, with purpose chose to create and designed you as an original masterpiece.   For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] (Ephesians 2:10).  Always and forever remember, that you my sister are one of a kind and God loves every part of who you are!

Thirdly, Women are loved. Of all the things we struggle with in life, understanding and receiving God’s love can be at the top of the list.  Sometimes in life you need a reminder of how much God loves you because let’s face it, it is easy to forget. I believe Romans 5:8 is that reminder. Regardless of what is going on in your life today, God’s love is constant and this beautiful love extends to women too (John3:16).

In Romans 5:8, “Demonstrates his own love for us in this” – The message of the gospel is not just about God saying he loves us. It is about God showing and proving he loves us. This is why the real proof of love is not just by what you say, it is by what you do. As much as God could say he loves us if he left us in our sinful condition, without offering a way out, then that would not be love.

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” – The demonstration of his love leads to this one great act, Christ dying for you and me. The greatest treasure of heaven was sacrificed to win back the worst sinners on earth. That’s why if you ever run into a place where you question just how much God loves you, simply remember the cross. This is the forever reminder and proof of how great God’s love is for you.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Fourthly, Women Have Purpose. We Are Purposefully Made.  We are crafted personally and purposefully, to bring glory to God. Nothing about us is accidental. God doesn’t simply allow us to be a certain way or carry a certain trait – every cell of our being is intentional. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be(Psalm139).

Before we were known to our mothers, God was forming every intricate detail and fabric of who we are. We often default to a critical view of ourselves and others. Psalm 139 helps us to see ourselves and others through God’s perspective. So, take time to mediate, pray and declare the words from the scriptures mentioned in today’s blog post over your life.

4 Reasons to declare and MEDITATE ON gOD’S wORD

I wake up with purpose, direction, and meaning every day of my life

First, GOD want to transform you, he wants to help you change your attitudes and emotions, to help you grow.

Second, SELF. when you get into God’s Word on a daily basis you’re fighting the lies of the world with the truth of Scripture and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform how you think about yourself.

Third, Life – The Holy Spirit wants to give you an eternal perspective on life so that you make better and wiser decisions.

Fourth, GOD – The Holy Spirit wants to change the way you think about God. He wants you to understand that God isn’t a distant, demanding deity but a loving heavenly father. God doesn’t want anything from you, he wants things for you. God doesn’t love you because your good, He loves you because you’re His. Those small changes in thinking will radically transform your closeness to God.

“You are not who others say you are. You are who God says you are.”

Prayer of Praise to god

I pray that you sense his presence even now as he is with you wherever you go no matter what stage of life you are in.  Listen with your heart as you read the following passage from Psalm 139:13-16.

I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking Body and soul, I am marvelously made I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.

So, let us celebrate our God by, truly believing in what God has said about us.  Let us continue encourage one another with words that uplift and not destroy.  I hope that you share this message with other beautiful sisters like yourself.  Iam sure you know someone that needs to know just how much God truly loves them.

May God bless my beautiful sisters and thank you so much for helping to make this world a more beautiful place to live.  By, simply being who God created you to be as we go sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Let us love and  encourage one another daily!

Grace & Peace

Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord.  Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! Psalm 27:14
