God Is in the Middle of the Process

Exodus 14:23-25 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. 25 He jammed[b] the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

Week Theme: This is the moment everything has been leading to. God did not only call them to move forward. He made a way where there was no way. But they still had to walk through it.

The Egyptians followed Israel into the sea. But what they did not realize is that God had already positioned Himself in the middle of the situation. The same path that brought deliverance for Israel became confusion for Egypt. God was not only at the beginning of the miracle. He was in the middle of it. Sometimes we think God has stepped away because things still feel tense. But God is often working in the very space that feels uncertain.

Formation Insight

God is present even in the middle of what feels unresolved.

The Israelites’ journey through the Red Sea is a testament to faith in God’s promises. In our lives, we must trust that God will make a way even when there seems to be no way. Bible Hub
