God loves us and wants to protect us. If you’re feeling worried or scared, know that God is always there to protect you and guide you. May this timely word from Hope 1 Ministries s encourage, comfort and remind you of God’s divine protection!
Grace and Peace Family,
I think you’ll agree with me when I say…The True and Living God is our Great Defender! He alone is the one we can find safety and protection. As a reminder for us today, Deuteronomy 32:3.4 say, His works are perfect, and the way he works is fair and just; A God you can depend upon, no exceptions, a straight-arrow God. That is to say. God has committed himself to our protection, provision and peace in return for our allegiance to Him. The Rock: of our Salvation!
Now, this is important…we must resolve in our hearts that all Victory belong to God. And this is the best part, God’s favor upon us is not dependent upon our obedience, or our law-keeping. God’s favor upon us is because of what Christ did on the cross therefore, we are free. And because of our freedom and redemption in Christ we can be patience when problems, trials, delays persecution come our way without becoming annoyed or anxious.
Romans 12:12-18, Paul sums up all that is necessary to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord and in verse 12, we are encouraged to “rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Let me clarify….”To rejoice in hope is to have that unfaltering assurance in God’s Word as fact, knowing that our hope of glory is secured for us in heavenly places for the eternal ages to come simply because God’s Word is true and cannot be broken. To be patient in tribulationis to know and accept that in this world we will have tribulation, but to wait patiently in our suffering, without murmurings, and to be of good cheer, knowing that His strength is sufficient to see us through every difficulty of life because He has already overcome sin and death – and we are united with Him and His victory. To be constant in prayeris to recognize that prayer is one of the chief weapons of the spiritual warfare in which all Christians are engaged. As saints of God, we should all be instant in prayer, constantly lifting our hearts and voice to the Lord in prayers of thanks and praise and intercession and requests and laying them before the throne of God’s grace in the name of JESUS. Be patient, your time will come”
Final point, In Isaiah 12, the prophet’s message to the people of God is to be thankful shout joy and to draw water(joy) from the wells of Salvation. He then turns their attention towards the future of what it will be like when God deliver the children of Isarel from bondage! In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
Therefore, since we have a great high priest, who has gone through the heavens, namely, Jesus the Son of God, let us continue to hold on to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet was without sin. So let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16).That being so, let us sing to the Lord shout praises unto Him and believe that God will bless you really good you just wait and see!!
Your Sister in Christ,
Monica Tucker
Romans 12:12-18 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all
