How is your hope?

Does it bounce back after being hit? Does it cause you to doubt when you lose hope in a situation? God knows that we all struggle with finding and holding onto hope. When you are facing tests of faith, even the strongest Christians can find it a challenge to find hope.

When you need encouragement and refreshment for your soul, turn to the Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments that offer hope and encouragement. How does one maintain HOPE? 

Hope is an Optimistic mindset that is based positive expectations your expectation must be positive 

We don’t have to know God’s plan to have hope. When we know in advance there is no need for hope for what a man sees what he needs to have hope for.  For in this hope, we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently (Romans 8:24-25). 

Your thoughts affect your feelings what we think affects us emotionally  

Despair is when you’ve resigned yourself to futility you have given up. Despair is a sin because despair Abandons hope in God because that is hopelessness. You can feel hopeless and not be in despair.   

WHAT CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD? 

Divinely inspired hope- is a holy persuasion that he is able to keep what I have entrusted into his care. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword (Romans 8:35).  

I can depend on the character of God  

You are depending, trusting in the character of God.  Is God good for what He said? 

As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.  In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.”  He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb.  No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised (Romans 4:17-21 ESV). 

In spite of the circumstance that you see that should rob you of hope you still have hope anyway, you still believe any way.  You can hope against everything that looks the contrary to what you are believing God for. 

Divinely inspired hope is Where God imputes a certain favor and grace upon you to believe in the face of all odds against you.

Hope looks at the character of God, the nature of God, the holiness of God, the consistency of God. 

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38).  

A Holy Persuasion God doesn’t inhabit the complaints of the saints he inhabits the praise of the saints. For which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. (2Timothy 1:11-12). Paul was entrusted with a mission a vision and a purpose he was catching it in the midst of all that he still maintains that holy persuasion  

Another definition of hope is a joyful and confident expectation  

He is a God of Hope that is what he brings to us, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). Abound in Hope- is running over you anoint my head with oil my cup runs over (Psalm 23  

Fath is not blind faith 

Christian faith is not blind faith. It is a reasoned trust but there are times we have to move through the dark.  And what is the dark? It where you are not clear, you’re not sure, you don’t have definite clear directions and its nothing wrong with not knowing. The darkness of the circumstance and the situation, the darkness of not having complete information. 

God is not going to take me some place that He haven’t prepared me for or prepared for me

This is the kind of understanding that gives us the kind of hope to be strong to be confident to be at peace.  We don’t always have certainty clarity. I’m praising you God while I am waiting. Waiting is not passive its active. Genesis 12:1: Hebrews 11:8; Psalm 18:28; 119:105 To live in hope its living in an optimistic mindset living in an expectation that good triumphs over evil no matter how bad things get it’s not going to last forever good will come or some greater good will come out of this bad.

So, we triumph over bad we know that God is able to bring a greater good out of the bad a great purpose a greater plan. Remember a greater good came out Joseph and that can happen out the most devasting experiences while we are in the midst of it. It’s painful can’t make since of it can have feelings of anger and frustration, resentful. As time goes by, we look back and say wow If it didn’t happen like this I wouldn’t be where I am. We see through a glass darkly (I Corinthians 13:12). We don’t have all the information we get bits and pieces of the information. And that is what faith is faith is not knowing everything faith is trusting.    

Hope never gives up  

There are certain effects that having hope and living in hope have on you  

• Hope opens the mind to creative and new possibilities  
• Hope is also contiguous 
• Hope motivates the will the will to survive not to give up not to without hope the will is  
• Hope impower you with joy that leads to courage  
• Hope helps you heal faster – Hope helps you feel better about yourself feel better about your situation so you begin to heal.  Health comes to body; mind and the soul everything comes together on one page the way we think effects the way we feel. The way we act, the choices we make, how we respond to situations and circumstances and the way we reach out in hope and grab hold of God  

A Prayer for those that are Feeling hopeless believe and trust God, listen for him, be sensitize to him and all of sudden your eyes will be open in the middle of the darkness. You will begin to light coming in little by little an increase until it becomes so full that you have to a adjust just your lens to close it a little because the light of revelation, the light of guidance, light of truth is happening. That is how God works, he has been consistent, and you can trust his character.  When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61:2). 

It’s a Good Thing to Hope for Help from God 

I’ll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I’ve swallowed. I remember it all—oh, how well I remember— the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: (Lamentations 3:19-21 MSG)
