Operation Love uses all the money it receives from individuals and corporations to purchase personal care products to distribute to those who need them. Of course, we gladly accept any size donation to help us carry out our mission. Operation Love is a community outreach of Hope 1 Ministries, Inc.
Operation Love uses all the money it receives from individuals and corporations to purchase personal care products to distribute to those who need them. Of course, we gladly accept any size donation to help us carry out our mission. Operation Love is a community outreach of Hope 1 Ministries, Inc.
· View the list of volunteer opportunities and let us know how you would like to “Get Involved” or the “volunteer opportunities” you are interested in.
· Now you are ready to email us your name, address and phone number along with the areas in which you are interested in volunteering. We will enter your new info into our registration system.
· Please let us know if you are a returning volunteer
· You will receive reminder emails once registered, as well as an email each time we post new volunteer needs.
Important Things to Remember:
· Volunteers MUST be ages 16 and up unless (accompanied by a parent).
· What not to wear, NO flip flips, NO open toed/backed shoes, no Toms or Crocs.
· Acceptable attire: T-shirt (red/green), cargo shorts or jeans, sneakers or work-boots
· Sunscreen and a hat are recommended!
What to bring:
· A bottle of water
· A light jacket
· Travel size hand sanitizer
Here are some volunteer opportunities
· Assemble and pack personal care items/ Distribute food boxes December 20th 3-6pm
· Pick up and deliver personal care packs December 25th .9:30 a.m.
· Hold a personal care product “drive” in your neighborhood, school, or work.
· Please note: Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum age to volunteer at Operation Love is 5 years old. However, we recommend that groups of youth be 3rdgrade and older. Operation Love reserves the right to amend volunteer scheduling.
