Our first Women of Courage Summer Reset has passed, but we are still grateful for the moments we shared.

What began as a simple opportunity for women to pause in the middle of the year became a meaningful time of reflection, encouragement, fellowship, and connection.

We gathered to worship, reflect on the journey so far, and consider what God was showing us. Women shared honestly from their own lives—about surrendering plans, moving forward through difficult circumstances, finding their voices, facing distractions, and learning not to measure their lives by what they see around them.Photos

One of the beautiful things about our time together was that there was room for real conversation. There were moments when someone shared a thought, and another woman recognized herself in it. There were pauses, questions, laughter, encouragement, and reminders that sometimes we do not recognize what God is doing in our lives because we see what we are doing as small. Sometimes growth is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is found in the small steps, the decisions we make, the courage to surrender, and the willingness to keep moving forward.Photos

Throughout the week, we also made time simply to connect. From our gathering around the table for breakfast to an evening of pizza, games, laughter, and fellowship in the salon, women and young adults came together across generations. There was no pressure to create something bigger than the moment. We made room to enjoy one another. And that, too, is part of the heart of Women of Courage.

We reflect. We encourage. We connect. We make room for one another. As we look back through these photographs, we are grateful for every woman who came, shared, served, supported, brought food, participated, invited a friend, and helped make these moments possible.
