GROW Recap: Courage to Obey — What Passover Reveals for Us Today

Grace and Peace 🌿

This week, we began our GROW Bible Study by walking through Exodus 12, and it was a powerful start.

One of the things that stood out most was the detail in God’s instructions. From being fully dressed, to having sandals on, to eating in haste—every instruction pointed to readiness. God wasn’t just giving His people something to do; He was preparing them for movement.

It reminded us that obedience isn’t passive.
Obedience is preparation for what God is about to do next.

Another meaningful moment in our discussion was realizing that many of us had never fully connected Passover to our faith today. That realization opened the door for deeper understanding.

In Passover, we see God bringing deliverance, protection, and direction. It wasn’t random—it was intentional. And as we continue to grow in our understanding, we begin to see how God uses moments like this to reveal His bigger plan.

That’s what GROW is about.

Not having all the answers, but being willing to:

  • Read the Word
  • Ask questions
  • Reflect honestly
  • And allow God to reveal truth

Courage to Obey is trusting God enough to follow His direction—even when we don’t fully understand it.

And sometimes, obedience looks like preparation before anything changes.
