Psalm 20:4– May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
As I write this devotional, I recognize that my hope may feel distant, but I believe I have the strength to endure. Many of us experience these feelings, and together, we will find a way through. Have you ever felt this way? You are not alone.
God is not done with you. God has not forgotten you. You are not alone. This is the sign you’ve been looking for. Press on for just a little longer, and a mighty victory will be awaiting you on the other side of this, in Jesus’ mighty name I declare. A feast at a table in the presence of your enemies. You will overcome. But you can’t do this in your own strength.
I’ve tried it in my own power, and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried it in my own strength, and I’ve realized that time spent in a gym doesn’t prepare you for a spiritual battle. I’ve tried it by might, and I can’t do it even one bit. It’s time I do it by His Spirit: not in my own strength, not in my own might, not by my own power, but by His Holy Spirit. All while allowing the joy of the LORD to be my strength. I invite you to join me in this. I am not alone. Nor are you.
Allow the Word of God to immerse you as you read through Scripture each day. They alone—that is, God’s Words in His Holy Bible—are the very lifeblood you need to navigate this battle. For in your own strength, you can’t do it—it’s impossible. However, with God, nothing is impossible.
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, But we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God.” – Psalm 20:7

Reflections: God has a plan for your life. Through Him, you have hope and a future. Allow that truth to settle in your heart today and watch your fear fade.
Prayer: Father God, I have many prayers and petitions, some of them answered, others not. I am encouraged that you do answer prayers, understanding that sometimes it is not the answer I want. Let me continue to remember those prayers where I have witnessed your answers and let this be my testimony of your goodness to encourage those who hear it. Amen
