Did you know that helping others can lead to a happier, healthier you?

The person who’s in love with their vision of community will destroy community. But the person who loves the people around them will create community everywhere they go.

Grace And Peace Family,

Thank you for sharing your time, resources and prayer support for our recent Hope 1 Ministries community outreach. You rendered an invaluable service and shared sincere love to those we meet during Operation Love Community Outreach -Orlando, Florida. We are especially appreciative of connecting with SALT Outreach Inc. a non-profit organization that serves the homeless population in Orlando & Central Florida. They provide showers, clothing, haircuts. https://www.serviceandlovetogether.org/ and we look forward to serving with them in the future. Stay connected to find out how you can volunteer for future events. https://hope14me.org/volunteer/

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King

Coretta Scott King

Through your small acts of thoughtfulness towards the unsheltered, the local elementary school and Boys and Girls Club that we pray for while in Orlando will not go unnoticed. Galatians 6:9 says, and let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King

Kindness and compassion come from within. They are innate in all of us and are part of what make us human. When you lend someone a helping hand, you feel a lot better about yourself. It feels so rewarding because you know that you have contributed something very important to mankind.

Additionally, giving and helping allows you to build stronger connections with other people, especially those within our community. It improves relationships, leading everyone to have a better life. Helping others can be just as fulfilling as receiving help from someone else.“Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It’s important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It’s the way in which we ourselves grow and develop.” – Dorothy Height

Helping other people and giving service to them is not required of us. After all, we are all given free will to choose whether or not we’ll lend a hand. But regardless of how you have been treated in the past, it is always the best choice to help other people out. Why? Because to help is human, and it’s one of the things that connects us.

We know our community is stronger than ever as we inspire to grow together. Thank you for your support and belief in Hope 1 Ministries, and we look forward to staying connected on our blog and being in community serving at the next Operation Love Community Outreach in Tampa this month Sunday, May 28th.
