Tampa

At our downtown Tampa ministry location, our Prayer Walk will happen Sunday, April 25th @ 10am, where we visit the Downtown area of Tampa Bay and find people who are in need. We feed them physically by giving them sandwiches and other food items, but we do not forget about their spiritual needs. We offer them prayer and invite them to come our ministry tables for a personal care pack, clothes and a Bible.

Central Florida/Orlando

In the Central Florida Orlando Area, we visit those who gather outside the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida homeless shelter, bringing food, beverages, and items like socks or toiletries. We also pray for them and encourage them to attend a local church in their area. We invite you to join us as we bring hope and encouragement to this community.

WHAT TO PRAY

When we meet: Sunday, April 28th ; Sunday June 27th

Be blessed – first receive God’s blessing – ask the Holy Spirit to come and lead your prayers

Be protected – put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:11-18)

Be thankful – for the blessings that this high street has given so many and for those who worked hard to provide services over the years

As you walk:

Be expectant – listen to the Holy Spirit as you walk in your local high street

Be repentant – ask God to forgive us for anything in the high street that offends His perfect will and ask for things to change

Be a blessing – bless the buildings, businesses, staff and owners of the businesses, the council services and any other community hubs with healing and restoration.

Be creative – as led by the Holy Spirit, pray for new initiatives to be birthed, dying initiatives to be revived or remodeled within God’s will

Be good news – take care of others by staying socially distanced – stay safe! – be friendly and notice the people around you – might God be highlighting someone to you to pray for as you go along?

When you finish:

Be grateful – share together what you observed and what the Holy Spirit showed you, and share more widely to your church

Finish with the Lord’s Prayer – Your kingdom come…
