Recognize that the fear is real and its not your friend. As trivial as a fear may seem, it feels real to you and it’s causing you to feel anxious and afraid. Never belittle the fear as a way of forcing you or someone else to over come it. To deny it may help some but it won’t make the fear go away. Simply to deny something does not mean that you want have to deal with it any longer it’s just a way to delay something that your brain is not ready to deal with. However, there are spiritual laws and principles that can be used to help you and your love ones overcome fear.
There are very big, very real fears that come from horrific events like what has unfolded in our country in the last couple of months. As we pray for the victims of this unimaginable Covid-19 virus and their families, we deal with the fear that is invading our own hearts and sometimes the hearts of other members of our families
God can help us overcome our fears causing us to be set free from the power and torments it can have over our lives.
But how do you deal with these fears?
Well, I believe God has given us His word for times such as these. And when we read His word, meditate on His word, declare and do everything in it. He will make our way prosperous and successful. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be [d]successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:8 AMP).
So what can we do?
We can read our Bibles meditate and declare His word during our personal devotional times also with our families along with praying together. You can read, meditate, declare and pray the following verses over your family and yourself and claim strength and courage in Jesus name. You can teach your children to pray them as well when they are afraid. May we all be encouraged to know that we can lean on Jesus and trust Him to deliver us from all evil.

Grace & Peace,

(Deuteronomy 31:6)
0”Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you

(Joshua 1:9 AMP)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

Psalm 23:4 AMP)Even if I walk through ·a very dark valley [or the shadow of death], I will not be afraid [T fear no evil], because you are with me. Your rod and your shepherd’s staff comfort me.

(Psalm 27:1)
The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life Whom shall I dread?
( Psalm 55:22)
Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).

(Proverbs 3:5-8AMP)Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil. It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts]
And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones

( Isaiah 35:3-4 AMP)
Encourage the exhausted, and make staggering knees firm. Say to those with an anxious and panic-stricken heart,
“Be strong, fear not! Indeed, your God will come with vengeance [for the ungodly]; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.

(Isaiah 41:13 AMP)
“For I the LORD your God keep hold of your right hand; [I am the Lord], Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.

(Isaiah 43: 1-5 AMP)
But now, this is what the LORD, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine! “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you. “For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt [to the Babylonians] as your ransom, Cush (ancient Ethiopia) and Seba [its province] in exchange for you. “Because you are precious in My sight, You are honored and I love you, I will give other men in return for you and other peoples in exchange for your life. “Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east [where they are scattered], And gather you from the west.

(Mathew 6:25-34 AMP)
“Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by worrying can add one [l]hour to [the length of] his life? And why are you worried about clothes? See how the lilies and wildflowers of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin[wool to make clothing], yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive and green today and tomorrow is [cut and] thrown [as fuel] into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31 Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

(John 14:27 AMP)
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have[perfect] peace.

(John 16:33 AMP)
In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous[be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

(Philippians 4:6-9 AMP)
Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Finally, [b]believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.

(I Peter 5:7 AMP)
casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].

(I Timothy 5:7)
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

(I John 4:17)
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].
