Happy New year Everyone!
Our Ministry theme for 2019 is “Focus”.  According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, The word focus is a point of concentration and directed attention.  This year may you find yourself totally, focused on discovering what is God’s purpose for your life.  Secondly, finding new ways to be a light by fulfilling your purpose while here on earth. We are all call to do something! Whether you are leading a community outreach event, bringing a new neighbor a meal to welcome them to the community, paying a visit to a family or friend in the hospital or visiting a senior in a nursing home who has no family.  There are so many ways that you and I can be creative in how we can effectively be a light to the world!  No mater how you choose to help others, just know that we all can be a light in this dark world to people everywhere!    Hebrews 10:20-21 (NLT) says: “May he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.” Even now, God is equipping you with talents, knowledge, skills and experiences to do his will here on earth. “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
