But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity
2 PETER 2:18 ESV
May this New Year hold your peace and happiness! 2025 can be a year in which you grow closer to God, spend more time reading His Word, and make prayer and reflection a part of your everyday routine. Those are lofty-sounding goals, but they are not out of reach with the right attitude, tools, and personal discipline.
We cannot help you with the attitude and discipline parts, but we can provide you with a few good tools. One of the best ways to introduce Bible reading and reflection into your daily life is to sign up for a devotional or Bible reading plan. We want to help you learn to approach life with hope and confidence, overcome the trials we all face, and press toward the reality of living your dreams. And so, the Hope 1 Ministry team has gathered together our favorite devotions and reading plans for 2025. Read More.
In 2025, we call everyone to a renewed commitment to read, understand, believe, and obey God’s Word. But beyond that, we hope 2025 is a year of spiritual growth for you. This year’s consecration devotional material will focus on another attribute of God. This is a part of our annual theme for 2025” God’s Amazing Grace: Grace is sufficient. It shows us our lives have significance beyond the mundane everyday existence. It is by grace that we are saved! Grace will hold up your heart when your strength has let you down. It is a divine gift from God.
Let us rejoice in the new year, knowing that we can see God’s goodness daily—in how He guides, protects, and favors us. The goodness of God is a promise that believers can rely on, no matter what season we find ourselves in. Here is a quote by Smith Wigglesworth that always reminds us of the assurance of God’s protection: “God’s canopy is over you and will cover you at all times, preserving you from evil.” – Smith Wigglesworth. It is my prayer that you choose to look to see God and honor him in everything you do in the New. Year Thank you for allowing me the privilege of encouraging you!
Sincerely,
Monica T.

You’ll find two types of resources on our New Year devotions page:
1. Bible reading plans: A Bible reading plan is a daily Bible reading sent straight to your inbox, ranging in length from a single Bible verse to a longer daily reading. If you want to read the Bible more but have trouble knowing where to start (or motivating yourself to sit down and do the reading), this is what you need. There are plans that will walk you through some or even all of the Bible over the course of a year or two. Pick the reading plan with a pace that appeals to you, and you’ll be on your way to making Bible reading a daily habit!
2. Devotions: Devotions are a daily or weekly piece of short, inspirational reading to help keep your focus on what really matters amid the hectic pace of your everyday life.
We want to help you learn to approach life with hope and confidence, overcome the trials we all face, and press toward the reality of living your dreams in 2025. Therefore, we’re especially excited about three brand new devotionals we will do this year:
- Grace & Glory: 50 Days in the Purpose & Plan of God. Grace & Glory is a 50-day journey in the purpose and plan of God. We explore scriptures that remind us that God created us for His glory, and is shaping us into His image-bearers by grace. God planned this grace before time began; Jesus came to make it available; and the Spirit becomes our minister of grace as we learn to walk in it.
- Walkin in Grace — a special five-day devotional that will encourage you as you seek God’s presence and nearness this year. And challenge you to live a healthy life both physically and spiritually, drawn from Guidepost Devotionals
- How firm a foundation. 365 Devotions from Genesis to Revelations for help, hope and strength Bread. Every word in the Bible was included intentionally and for a purpose. So why do we often study the same familiar passages? God speaks through His Word and it offers hope, help, and strength to guide us toward a solid foundation of faith in the Author of the universe. How Firm a Foundation provides a different encouraging insight into God’s Word every day for a year. Each section of Scripture (Pentateuch, Histories, Poetry and Wisdom, Major and Minor Prophets, Gospels, Church History, Letters, Prophesy) is introduced and explained, providing you with the opportunity to meditate on and have a well-rounded understanding of each book of the Bible from Genesis through Revelation.
We’re excited to offer these reading plans and devotionals as you prepare for 2025. Even if you don’t use these resources, we believe that 2025 can be a transformative year for you—a year filled with the profound joy of engaging with God’s Word. Whether you’re a lifelong Bible reader or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to deepen your relationship with Scripture and experience its life-changing power. Embrace this chance to connect with God!
