We hope this message finds you safe and well. The recent storm has been challenging for all of us, and our thoughts are with everyone affected. We wanted to reach out. Hope 1 Ministries is here to support you during this time.
As we start a new month, and a new sermon series, many things feel the same. We are still facing an uncertain future. The good news of this new season is that we do not need to wait. We can get on with the work of being the church. We are the people of God.
Because of the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf, the church has tremendous hope. We have confidence in the future in all seasons. This particular season of life is placing upon us challenges unlike any we have seen before. It is discouraging, it is disorienting, it is troubling. The author of the book of Hebrews roots us in a great truth and then issues a challenge. In light of what Jesus Christ has done for us, let us consider how we spur one another on. Let us move ahead as the church community.
In this month’s sermon series, we will openly discuss the challenges we face. We will explore how to embrace our work and consider how to move ahead. We aim to live out the mission. We strive to follow the calling of the community of Christ. I pray that God, the source of all hope, will infuse your lives with an abundance of joy and peace in the midst of your faith so that your hope will overflow through the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).
In His Service,
M. Tucker,
