Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23 (ESV)
John 14:18-24 Abode. Christ promises that he would continue his care of his disciples. I will not leave you orphans, or fatherless, for though I leave you, yet I leave you this comfort, I will come to you. I will come speedily to you at my resurrection. I will come daily to you in my Spirit, in the tokens of his love, and visits of his grace. I will come certainly at the end of time. Bible Hub
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” John 14:23 KJV May Christ make His abode with you. May you love His Commandments. May you keep His Principles and Precepts written upon the pages of your heart. Keep His Covenant. Obey His Word and treasure every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.
The Amplified Version expounds upon John 14:23 AMPC in the following manner, “Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.” May you bow to Christ—our Living God. May you surrender to His Way. May Christ make your heart His abode and dwelling place. Obey His teaching. Obey His Word. Follow His Instruction and you will not go astray.
The surest evidence of our love to Christ is obedience to the laws of Christ. There are spiritual tokens of Christ and his love given to all believers. Where sincere love to Christ is in the heart, there will be obedience. Love will be a commanding, constraining principle; and where love is, duty follows from a principle of gratitude. God will not only love obedient believers, but he will take pleasure in loving them, will rest in love to them. He will be with them as his home. These privileges are confined to those whose faith worketh by love, and whose love to Jesus leads them to keep his commandments. Such are partakers of the Holy Spirit’s new-creating grace. Bible Hub

Reflection: May we open our hearts and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill us up every morning before we start doing our daily activities.
Prayer: Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I belong to You. Father, my heart belongs to You. Lord, You are my Blueprint. You are my Savior. You are my God. Father, You are my King. Father, dwell here. Dwell upon the pages of my heart. Dwell here and make Your abode with me. Father, rest here, for I am Yours. I belong to You—forever. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
