The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.
Proverbs 22:3
Trust In The Lord.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
Who’s leading your ship? Leadership requires trust. Proverbs 3:5 KJV declares, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart.” Trust in the Lord with every aspect of your life. Trust in the One who created you. Trust in the One who created your heart. Trust in the One who holds the future in His Hands.
The Amplified Version puts it this way, “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 AMPC
We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, believing he is able and wise to do what is best. Those who know themselves, find their own understandings a broken reed, which, if they lean upon, will fail.

Lean on and trust in Christ. Be confident in Him and don’t rely upon your own intellect. For it is the Lord who gives Wisdom. For it is the Lord who gives Understanding. Choose to trust in the Lord.
The Message Translation puts it this way, “Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all”. Provers 3:5-12 Message Bible.
The New Living Translation puts it this way, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Seek His Will. Seek His Way. Trust in the Lord and He will shepherd your path.
As for His failing you, never dream of it — hate the thought of it. The God who has been sufficient until now should be trusted to the end.”
– Charles H. Spurgeon

Daily Reflections & Questions: More than ever before, we have to increase our trust level and make a conscious decision not to lean to only our own understanding. Stop in your tracks and acknowledge Father, ask Father, seek out and direct your thoughts to the Father through His Word and allow His guidance before making decisions. If you do, He will. Take the time to seek Him out for answers, you will find Him. May the Lord guide your character. May the Lord shape your decisions. Trust in God’s Plan. Trust in God’s Way. Let Christ lead your path.
Daily Prayer: If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, say this simple prayer: Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ. I believe that He died and rose just for me. Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I repent of my sin and I turn to You. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
