Trying to figure out what to do with the Halloween haul your kids brought home this year after trick-or-treating? Here is a great way to donate your extra candy to a good cause:
If you got too much Halloween candy on November 1 the perfect way to rid your house of excess sugar is to donate Halloween candy to Hope 1 Ministries.

Where to Donate Halloween Candy in 2023

You can make a donation to Hope 1 Ministries by collecting Halloween candy and sending it in. It’s donating candy to be included in care packages for veterans, the elderly or children in need. Your candy will be included in personal care packages to support our veterans, the elderly or children in need. LAST YEAR WE donated OVER 400 care packages for families in need in our community.

  • These events support our veterans, the elderly or children with a treat during the holiday seasons and more.
  • SENDING YOUR CANDY:
  • After you’ve collected your candy, simply send it to us by the end of the year. Our dedicated volunteers will sort, and handle everything. Just keep the candy in its original wrapping, and please avoid sending homemade goods like cookies.
  • Beyond Candy: We welcome additional care package items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, and other hygienic products. Your generosity can make a significant impact.

    COLLECTION AND SHIPPING SCHEDULE: November 1st – 7th (suggested)

    We suggest collecting immediately following Halloween from November 1st – 7th, but you can choose a date(s) that work best for you. Ship candy to us by the end of the year to ensure the best quality! Don’t forget to include your organization’s name/personal name and contact information so we can thank you.
