“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
mATHEW 7:7
Jesus Christ declares in Matthew 7:7 that anyone who asks to receive the Holy Spirit, God the Father will give His Good Gift to anyone who asks. It’s simple—just ask.
The Amplified Version expounds upon Matthew 7:7 in the following manner, “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.”
Ask and God will give you His Good Gift. Seek and you will find. Reverently knock and God will open the door to you. God, our Good Father, will not withhold any Good Gift from those who ask. You are His child—you do not have to beg. Our Good Father will freely give to all those who ask. You don’t have to press—just ask. Ask God for the Holy Spirit—for our God gives gifts freely.
In fact, the Message Bible expounds upon Matthew 7:7 in the following manner, “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need.” Our God loves you and He will not withhold any good thing.
Asking God for something is easy when you are speaking at the same frequency, with patience, peace, stillness, and quiet.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, when I remember that Your timing in answering my prayers is often different from mine—yet always right on time—I remain in peace because I trust Your leadership. Amen.
Today’s Action and Reflection:oday, instead of going through your shopping list with God, sit with Him, asking for His presence, asking Him for peace, be in communion with Him and you will continue to find the right questions to ask.
