Reading is one of the most important skills that help people build their personalities. The importance of reading to a child cannot be understated as the sooner they learn to read, the faster they are able to grasp ideas and concepts and excel at both academics and social life. Unfortunately, there are many children who are unable to have access to good quality reading materials at home.

Consequently, one of the four core values of Hope 1 Ministries is built on the vision that education serves as a keystone in improving society and building better futures for all. Therefore, we are committed to improving or lives and those of our community by providing free books, reading materials and school supplies to families during our annual community book drive February 28th @ 1pm. All books, reading materials school supplies will be distributed to families in our local community free. Please check out the donation supply list below. Not only do your book donations  support children, they also support reading in general. Schools and families buy books for fun and education. Instead of throwing out your old books or recycling them, donate them so they can be read and enjoyed again.
